Polish attitudes to Germans

A question - why is it that Poles are still obsessed by what happened 60 years ago or more? Just because someone might be German it doesn't follow that person is a Nazi. Most Poles I've met don't seem to be able to understand this. I wonder if the education system in Poland might be to blame ...

For Poles the WWII ended in 1989, before we weren't independent and normal country, we were all aware why we weren't normal country - it was because of Hitler/Stalin attacks on Poland in 1939. Now we need some time of living in normal and free country, let say 20, 30 years and afterwards we will think cool about WWII just as you do - I'm looking forward to this. Of course there are other issues that are common for us - we also lost our precious cultural land - our Ost Gebiete.
Best regards
