I spend my time between Germany and in the Polish border province of Lubuskie. I have a lot of free time and spend a fair amount of this driving around in my 4x4. I make most of my money by buying, selling, and renting out property in Germany. I'm currently looking into various property investments in Poland. I speak German and English, but not much Polish. I've spent a lot of my life studying (mostly in an effort to avoid a 9 to 5 job) in both Germany and England and even have a Ph.D to show for all my 'work'. So you can call me Dr. Hans if you like. My mother would like that :-)

For Poles the WWII ended in 1989, before we weren't independent and normal country, we were all aware why we weren't normal country - it was because of Hitler/Stalin attacks on Poland in 1939. Now we need some time of living in normal and free country, let say 20, 30 years and afterwards we will think cool about WWII just as you do - I'm looking forward to this. Of course there are other issues that are common for us - we also lost our precious cultural land - our Ost Gebiete.
